- I love rainy days the best, and winter is my favourite season.
- 'The Good Life' is my favourite TV series. Our vegetable garden is known as Surbiton and one of our goats is called Geraldine.
- I have always loved history and have studied genealogy for almost 40 years.
- I'm an eternal optimist.
- I was a primary teacher for over 12 years. I have a lifelong love of learning.
- My favourite colour is blue.
- I feel more at ease when I'm near water.
- Golden retrievers are definitely my favourite dog breed. We are lucky to have brothers Kevin and Rowan as part of our family.
- My favourite book is 'Pride and Prejudice'.
- One of my major art works completed during the H.S.C. was selected for Art Express and exhibited in New York.
- 'You've Got Mail' is my favourite movie of all time. Don't you think daisies are the happiest flower?
- I love to listen to easy listening music such as Norah Jones and Sting or an educational podcast while I work.
- I adore English paper piecing!
- I really enjoy taking a break in my day with a cup of tea on my front or back verandah.
- I enjoy watching some programs over and over. My favourite 'go-to' shows are River Cottage and Time Team.
